These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Argentum website, Argentum OS desktop software, Clipping Office, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
01 Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms and meet the minimum age required in your location. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
02 The Service
Argentum is a supervised content-operations workspace. Features may help users identify moments in source media, prepare clips, generate draft captions, organize files, connect selected third-party services, and create approval packages. Outputs are drafts until a user reviews and accepts them.
We may improve, add, remove, or limit features over time. We do not promise that every integration or feature will be available in every region, account, or version.
03 Accounts and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide, maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials, and all activity under your account or local installation. Use unique credentials, protect devices that run Argentum, and notify us through the Support page if you believe access has been compromised.
You may not share access in a way that defeats account controls, bypass approval safeguards, or permits unauthorized use.
04 Your content and permissions
You retain ownership of content you submit, import, record, or create through the Service. You grant Argentum a limited permission to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and improve the Service and to carry out actions you request.
You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to use the source media, audio, names, likenesses, trademarks, and other materials you provide. Argentum does not grant you rights to third-party content. You are responsible for reviewing outputs for accuracy, permissions, and compliance before use or publication.
05 Connected platforms
The Service may allow you to connect a third-party platform, including a social-media service. Your use of that platform remains governed by its own terms, policies, and community rules. Connections are initiated by the user through the platform’s authorization process and are limited to the permissions the user approves.
You are responsible for confirming the correct destination account, audience, privacy setting, disclosures, music rights, and content before any external action. You may disconnect a supported integration through the available account or platform controls.
06 Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to violate law or another person’s rights; access content or accounts without authorization; distribute malware; evade platform safeguards; impersonate another person; generate deceptive engagement; harass others; publish unlawful or harmful content; remove copyright or attribution mechanisms without permission; or attempt to bypass Argentum’s Human Gate, security, rate limits, or access controls.
You may not use outputs as a substitute for professional legal, financial, medical, or other regulated advice. You may not resell or reverse engineer the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
07 Fees and third-party costs
If paid features are offered, the applicable price and billing terms will be disclosed before purchase. You remain responsible for charges imposed by third-party platforms, internet providers, cloud providers, or other services you choose to connect. Argentum does not move money or purchase services without an authorized human action.
08 Intellectual property
Except for your content and third-party materials, the Service—including its software, interface, branding, documentation, and original content—is owned by Argentum or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant only a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service as provided.
09 Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, platforms, the Service, or third parties; respond to legal requirements; address nonpayment; or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
10 Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. Automated analysis and generated content may be incomplete or inaccurate. You must review outputs and external actions. We disclaim implied warranties to the extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Argentum will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11 Changes and governing terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or platform requirements. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be communicated when reasonably required. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
Applicable law and venue will be determined by the location and legal identity of the Service operator identified before commercial launch, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
12 Contact
Questions about these Terms, account access, or the Service can be submitted through the Argentum Support page. The production site will identify the responsible service operator and a monitored contact address before public submission.
